Medical Salt

Pharmaceutical-grade sodium chloride, purified and controlled to pharmacopoeia standards for sterile solutions, dialysis and pharmaceutical manufacturing — supplied with full batch traceability and a Certificate of Analysis.

Purity to the monograph

Sodium chloride refined for pharmaceutical use

Medical salt is sodium chloride purified and tested to meet the sodium chloride monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) and the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). Beyond the high assay demanded of food and industrial grades, the medical grade is defined by tightly limited impurities — heavy metals, arsenic, bromide, sulphate and insoluble matter — and by controlled microbiological quality.

Every consignment is manufactured under a documented quality system and released against a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis, so formulators and manufacturers can specify it with confidence and satisfy their own regulatory obligations.

Why medical grade

Built for regulated applications

01 · Compliance

Pharmacopoeia conformance

Manufactured to conform to the sodium chloride monographs of Ph. Eur. and USP, the recognised references for pharmaceutical sodium chloride.

02 · Purity

Controlled impurity profile

Heavy metals, arsenic, bromide, sulphate and insoluble matter are held within monograph limits and verified analytically for each batch.

03 · Traceability

Documented & traceable

Each batch is fully traceable and released with a Certificate of Analysis, supporting audits and downstream regulatory filings.
