How softening works
Water softener salt regenerates the ion-exchange resin that removes the calcium and magnesium responsible for hardness and scale. During regeneration a concentrated brine flushes the hardness ions from the resin and restores its capacity.
High purity and low insoluble content keep the brine tank, injector and valves clean, prevent bridging and mushing, and extend the life of both the resin and the softener.

Why this grade
A clean dissolving profile means fewer deposits, less bridging in the brine tank and a consistent brine strength.
Consistent size dissolves evenly and draws a reliable brine, so regeneration is predictable cycle after cycle.
Low impurities protect resin beds, injectors and valves, reducing maintenance and downtime.
Specification
Representative values
Values are representative of the softener grade. Guaranteed specification, form and packaging are confirmed for each order on the Certificate of Analysis.
